Late reply but I'm seeing the same thing. You'll get these with the vpxd service (vcenter) service gobbling up all memory then crashing. If you notice your vcenter getting sluggish just look at top and vpxd will likely have all your memory and probably cpu consumed.
Looks like another unstable aspect of this appliance. It sucks because I was thinking of adding more memory but that will likely increase the size of the core dumps.
