When VMware Workstation is first installed it sets up 3 VMnets, Bridged (VMnet0), Host-only (VMnet1) and NAT (VMnet8).
VMnet0 is the VMware Bridge Protocol bound to the Physical Network Adapter. (By default it does not show in ipconfig output.)
VMnet1 and VMnet8 get IP Address Subnets that are automatically assigned which do not conflict with each other or the Host's IP Address Subnet!
The ipconfig output does not show anything for VMnet8, why... did you remove it from the Virtual Network Editor?
The ipconfig output shows that both the Physical Network Adapter and VMnet1 are on the same IP Address Subnet and this by default normally should not be and also by default the last octet of VMnet1 is always set to .1.
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.45(Preferred)
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1:
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.46(Preferred)
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
So it appears as though you have manually modified the VMware defaults for VMnet1, WHY!?
Archive (compress) the .vmx configuration file and the vmware.log file into a single .zip archive file for the new VM and attach it to a reply.
NOTE: DO NOT copy and paste the contents of the .log or .vmx files into the body of a reply! Use the "Use advanced editor" link in the upper right corner of the normal reply window to bring up the Advanced Editor where you'll be able to attach files via the Choose File button or Browse button (depending on the Browser) above the Post Message button!
