Environment: Win7 host, Win7 guest, vm workstation 9.0.3 build-1410761 Quad Core Lenovo T430 system, 16 G of Ram. 2 cores and 4G ram assigned to guest.
Scenario: Suspend my win7 guest OS, then hibernate my Win7 Host laptop. After resuming host, get a black screen when I try and resume guest. I ensured guest was fully suspended before the host hibernated.
After being greeted by a the black screen in the guest and waiting 20 minutes while my hard drive activity light was flashing away, received a blue screen error in the guest, complaining about Memory_Management, with a stop 0x0000001A
Only fix is to reboot the Host.
Any idea on what is causing this issue? It happens at the worst time for me, usually minutes before I'm slated to demo something in the guest. As I've seen this occur twice now, I would appreciate any thoughts on how to go about fixing this.
